B023 – “The Da Vince Code” is constructed based on a Swiss automatic movement as the power source, from which we have applied and installed a mechanical module which we have completely developed in-house to provide a satellite time display function. This satellite mechanical module is featuring with a 3-discs system that self-rotates every hour while the whole system rotates in orbit format around the centre at 3 hours per revolution.
Unlike ordinary satellite system, this time we have hidden most of the numbers for the hours indications just like how “The Da Vince Code” has been hidden. To do so, special luminous plates were installed underneath certain locations so that only 3 numbers of the hours’ indications can be seen. Functionally, we have also added a “Date” display function at 2:30 position of the dial. Besides, the dial design has also added with the elements of “The Da Vinci Code” with secret pattern yet to be explored and discovered.
